Betsy Stirratt
Biography
Betsy Stirratt (b. 1958, New Orleans, LA) attended Louisiana State University (BFA, 1980) and received her MFA from Indiana University (1983). Her work has been exhibited at the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington DC, White Columns and Art in General in New York, the City Gallery at Chastain in Atlanta, the Indiana State Museum and at other venues in Houston, Los Angeles and other locations. She is the recipient of several grants and awards, including a Visual Artist Fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts and awards from the Indiana Arts Commission and the American Craft Council.
